Villans betting really threw me off... feels like a scared bet with a mid-pp but could be a weak Ace. Valuebetting rivers are a weakness of mine, how much should i be raising to get a pp to pay me off but not let Ax get away cheap?

I would bump it to 400.

I'd actually bet the flop. You're going to have a tough time getting any money form anyone without an ace if you wake up on later streets, so put out 200 or so and see what happens. (It also disguises an ace pretty well. I mean what ace would bet here?)

Turn: Sure.

River: This guy is such a loon, I can't think of any way to answer this question. His bets are terrible no matter what he's holding. I'm torn between t3-400, potting it and just shoving. It's a question of both how stupid he is, and in what ways he is stupid, and that's hard to judge.

Anyway, no earthly idea.

This was played ugly throughout. Raise to atleast t250 preflop. Flop check is ok, although I prefer a c-bet here of t250. The turn raise is awful, you have to raise to atleast t300.

Given the way you played the first 3 streets I have no idea where you are, but probably raise to t500 and call a push.

preflop i didn't want to commit too many chips but wanted to get it heads up so the smaller raise, i can understand raising more though.

flop sometimes i bet sometimes i check, i'll check flop and raise turn with air on that board so having the goods sometimes works well.

turn: bet is def too small, i dont know why i bet so small

river: with villans betting, are you ever folding to a push? he's either really scared or really big

I disagree with the other comments here. You clearly have the best hand in this situation, and by checking the flop you kept your donk in the hand rather than scaring him off with a flop bet. Good job there. Your reraise on the turn was good, not to much to scare him off. On the river I would value bet 300, which is not quite half the pot. Your donk will either call it or shove, from which you have successfully extracted the maximum value possible out the hand either way.

Joe, you're wrong.

Not betting this flop is horrible.

Perhaps I'm an idiot. But, why not consider the he has pocket 9s or A9s ? I'd love to check my FH flop and bet call the turn just so you value bet me on the river and I push... better yet min raise just to piss you off.

To answer your question, I like making it 400-450.
