Default Re: Moving up to clear bonuses

Thanks. Next question. Assuming equal skill in both, do you play 6-max or full ring. 6-max has more hands, but full ring should have bigger pots (thus bigger rake). Anyone know which is faster.

In my experience, playing at 6-max tables help clear the bonuses faster because playing more hands outweighs the bigger pots in 10-max tables.

When clearing bonuses, I usually open up 1-2 10-max tables where I play super-super tight and then I play a 6-max table as I normally would. I've been able to clear some bonuses very quickly.

You could move up a level to clear bonuses faster for those bonuses that have an expiration date. For others, you can choose to stick with a limit you are comfortable with.

At the end of the day, treat bonuses like what they are...bonuses. Playing solid poker is the most important thing.
