I think she can certainly have an ace and just call on the flop. In fact there's not many hands in her shoes that I would raise with on this flop, though I'd be more likely to raise the flop with a jack than with an ace.

Forgive my ignorance, but why wouldn't you raise with a good Ace on this flop?
