Default Not that anyone cares

I've played for a living for about a year now. I have to rate myself as a pretty solid poker player. Not as good as some of the young poker geniuses but all the same pretty decent. Over the last 2 months I have run so bad words cant describe. I've read hundreds of bad beat post & post about running cold and I was always like yeah whatever "its probably due to bad play". I stand corrected because these thing do happen. Over the last couple of months I've had to move from multi-tabling 3-6 NL to playin 1/2 and 2/4 NL. Even that cant stop me from being stack at a minimum of once every couple of hours. Over the last 2 weeks I've lost a total of around $3k on 6 different hands that when the money went in the pot my OP was 5%-3%. I was taking my money off various sites just to try to mix things up and to try to get something positive going. I think I played a hand tonight that just might have pushed me off poker for forever. I know bad beats happen to everyone but I just cant mentally take the beatings this game of poker has to dish out. Back to the real world of work for me. Although it will suck it cant even begin to compare to the mental anguish that I have put myself through the last couple of months. Anyway for your viewing pleasure.

OBV. I grinded for 5 hours before picking up a hand (the nutz) only to get it cracked by the old one outer. Like I said at the begining of the post. I know you just dont care. Please save your negative comments for someone else as I just thought this might could be remotley theraputic.
Oh and yeah let me thank Doyles Room for just giving me that hand to push me over the edge of insanity.

Peace out poker. Working a 9-5 grind is much less painful.

I don't see how you could lose so much of your roll in just 2 months if you've been winning for a year.

I had been winning for, let's see, 3-ish months? before I went pro, and a 250k hand losing stretch never dipped me below 2000BB for the game I was playing.

Because like a moron I didnt have really any money set back before leaving my job. I still have several thousand dollars but a thousand dollars just isnt that much nowadays and at the pace I'm burning through buy-ins its gonna last me a couple of weeks. Its so sad to have to go back to work but I cant climb through the internet and stop making bad beats happen to me. I'm really smart about not playing limits over my heard (bankroll mgt. etc.) but I couldnt beat a .01c/.02c game right now. I hate to look at things that way but its the truth. In with the best of it & not even the best of it I mean the clearly the best of it and the 1-3 outers are just getting shipped in there like its they got eyes on it. I'm just fortunate enough that I did go to college and have a degree and have a excellent military background so finding a job shouldnt be that much of a strugle.

I don't understand why 3/6NL MT players like you in a nasty run like this simply don't drop all the way down to say .5/1NL at times like this.

If you have been a 3/6 winner for years, you can still make rent & living expenses EASILY MTing .5/1. Even for a SS donk like me I can make a few $ at that level, so a decent MS player like you should crush it.

2,000 hands/day @ 5PTBB/100 @ .5/1NL = $200/day = $1400/week.

That not ok to live on for a month or two?

Why not just swallow your pride, drop way dowm, regain your confidence AND AND AND AND AND keep a few $ coming in?

Me no comprende.
