bet out, and shove over a raise (or realistically call a push). Id bet 35.

from the flop on... i think you have to bet here.

really? 3 betting an UTG raise OOP.. seems like we are likely dominated or behind to a PP. i like calling and evaluating the flop better, i think...

yeah i woulda just called preflop with the crappy position and all
but betting out seems fine from then on, keeps the lead

Preflop is ok, i 3bet utg raises from the blinds against unknowns occasionally. b/3bAI on frop.

I made a recent post about how I thought this was absurd, too, and was berated by all the forum LAGs that 3-betting AQo here is apparently standard.

I'm with you, though. I can even fold this. It's different if CO opens, or even if there are a couple limpers and button raises.

Only to the FTP regulars.

Personally, I'd rather 3-bet with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] than with this. It just about always sucks when you are called by UTG. Sure, you get AK to fold on the flop sometimes, but usually UTG has a pair that he isn't folding to a c-bet when you are called.

I think that AQ is one of those hands that the light 3-bettors always get themselves into big trouble with from the blinds.
