Well, if the Feds actually manage to coerce the banks into enforcing the UIG, uh, hmmm, LMNOP for them, then it's going to be illegal for the bank to accept transactions of any sort from any gambling-related Internet sites (unless, of course, the wagering is skill-based, such as on horses, dogs, or state lotteries...throw a brick into the crowd at the Kentucky Derby and your chance of hitting a Dem is only about 1 in 500, but that's just a coincidence). So, until this legislation is for whatever reason* declared null and void, I'm assuming that my monies on deposit with 'Stars and UB are irretrievable.

*Much like Prohibition, the current legislation is a thinly-veiled attempt to declare something de facto illegal, rather than per se, and, like Prohibition, it will fall under the weight of attempting to enforce it.

Yeah, but the leg hasn't begun to be enforced, yet. We're still in the 270-day "figgering it out" period. That said, I am a little leery of bouncing money around the way I did before the leg passed, however, as I don't want it to get stuck in some sort of administrative limbo should something abruptly change. I figure that by keeping what I'm playing with just at the site for now, I'm limiting my exposure just to getting screwed by the site, which I think is of the lowest order of likelihood.

have you ever coached or been coached?

what do you feel is the best coaching meduim?

who's the best small stakes coaching value?

given a period of X amount of hands, which would you prefer to accomplish first:
A)become a good enough player to beat Phil Ivey and the other players in the big game at the bellagio
B)become a rich enough player to sit in at the big game at the bellagio

If your answer is A, how would you go about it?
If your answer is B, same q as above - only repeated twice over.

Most common bad 2+2 advice

Most uncommon good 2+2 advice

What percentage of your times at the tables are spend on your A game?

How often do you think you transcend even your A game and get into a hyper poker "zone"?

how tall is my grandma?

etc?

I've only been coached informally. I have coached several people.

Sweat sessions. You can review HH's until your ears fall off, and it always turns into, "What did I do wrong on THIS hand?" rather than, "What did I do wrong in playing this TYPE of hand?" When you're sweating it's easier to be in the moment.

Me. I do it out of the kindness of my heart, so when calculating worth/cost you're calculator returns a !DIV0! error.

A, and it's not even close. It's not about money for me, it's about the challenge.

How to go about it? Isn't that what I'm doing? Can we play the game where you can only ask questions? Do you like that game? Have you ever played? Am I typing kind of hyper? Where are you from? I'm from...aw, [censored].

Ed's post. For added value, the most mis-used concept is "raise or fold."

Fold to the turn c/r from a passive player with your overpair or TPTK hand.

Hard to say. I'm not sure I've EVER played the best game I can online, as I am usually distracted by browsing 2p2 or looking at porn while I play. But, that said, isn't that the best I can play online, and therefore, by definition, that is my A game? So, by that reasoning, I'm always playing my A game...and looking at some grade-A porn.

Actually, I play my best playing in casinos in Vegas (5/10 against Herb the potato farmer is fun, fun, fun), before I get shitfaced, because there's almost nothing to do BUT pay attention, but that's such a small portion of the time I spend playing that it's insignificant.

[ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]

Never, and I don't think anyone does. When people say, "I was playing the best poker of my life," it usually means, "I was being hit in the face by the deck."

[ QUOTE ]

etc?

[/ QUOTE ]

Probably 5'5", but shrinking fast.

Touche.

For starters...
I have been positing on here for about 8 months or so and I wanted to let you that you are one the posters that I seek out. You have a wealth of knowledge and I respect that.

So... on to the questions...

What do you think is the most misunderstood/misused concept in this forum?

What do you think the strength of your game is?

What do you think is the weakness in most players games?

Interesting. You must be the only person on the Interweb that can type but not read.
