yeah i was thinking of trying to move mike bibby with someone for ray allen.
figured knight will give me plenty of assists and steals, and allen can take care of 3's, so i'd love to make that trade.
just not sure if i'll be able to get allen.

i just read that brevin knight is going to start the season at SG instead of PG so that should help me as i will have another player with SG elgibility.

Bibby played tonite.

It's gonna be hard to trade for Ray Allen - and Bibby hits a ton of 3's.

I'm in an 11 team league right now, and our draft is tonight at 6:45. I'm really hoping to steal Jameer Nelson.

[/ QUOTE ]

Where are you thinking of taking him? I haven't done a fantasy basketball draft in three years, but I have one on Wednesday and have absolutely no feel for where people should go.

Like I said, I haven't done a fantasy hoops draft in three years. I did zero preparation. Here's what I ended up with.

Ten-team league. Head to head. PG, SG, G, SF, PF, F, C, C, Util, Util, BN, BN, BN, BN.

Categories are FG%, FT%, 3ptm, Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, and turnovers.

I had the wrap pick at the end of the first round:

Paul (10)
Yao (11)
Bibby (30)
Joe Johnson (31)
David West (50)
Battier (51)
Murphy (70)
Randolph (71)
Ford (90)
Korver (91)
Wilcox (110)
Deron Williams (111)
Kevin Martin (130)
Curry (131)

I contemplated Dwight Howard at 11, ended up taking Yao and regretting it immediately (I've never played in a two-center league before and I think I put too high a premium on center here. Plus, like I said, I hadn't prepped and the only thing I had in front of me were the Yahoo! rankings).

I hate my 3rd and 4th picks. A whole bunch of players I had planned on taking went right before me, and I panicked and just grabbed guys at the top of the list.

I think I did well after this, though. I'm not thrilled with Korver, but I was desperate for some treys.

My hope is that I'll be able to trade some PGs for some more scoring and three-point shooting.

Ace, the only pick I don't really like is Bibby.

You should have enough 3pt shooting with Bibby, Korver, Joe Johnson, and Martin.

I think Yao, Wilcox, West, and Randolph will be able to offset that low FG% with the 3pt shooters.

If Yao's healthy, he should have a monster year. I would look to move a PG and Curry for a decent Center, if available.

if ridnour has G elgibility i would seriously consider starting him over hamiliton.
hamiliton doesn't give you anything but a ton of points, while ridnour will give you assists, steals, and occassionally some decent 3pts.
