you don't have to bet 3/4 pot, just enough to price out a flush draw and not induce a bluff raise.

I hope he raises. if I double villain up in this hand if he has a 9, I don't mind so much.

we fold if raised on turn.

I'm confused.

But ok. So we bet enough to price out FD say $17 and he calls. Now river hits with about $59-60 in and we check and he shoves his remaining $17 we have to call, right? so by leading this turn we are essentially saying we are willing to invest another $45 into this pot, correct? If so, I don't think I like it.

The way you got there, I would call smaller bets on the river, just evaluating based on the % of time I need to be good. I'm leading the turn for about 2/3 and getting it allin if he pushes considering we won't have much more behind.

Bet/fold turn, so that doesn't happen to you.

I'd bet the turn.

I would definitely bet-fold turn. This is a very drawy flop, make villain pay.

And if we're called river is an autocall with villian only having $17 behind correct?

Stack sizes are what made the turn a bit tricky for me, That's why I check called. I couldn't see villian betting a FD on turn. I figure he takes a free card. I also thought I might get some info if he bet and he did- but it was one of those donkish i have a boat/i have JJ/i don't know what to do/I have quads/etc. bets.

So given that I think check call another donkish sized bet on river (i.e. $5) and fold to anything substantial is the only line. Am I missing something?
