Just sit back, boredly answer two or three questions per class and sit there looking smart without seeming an arrogant prick.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is pretty much what I do. Also, I always wait a couple seconds and only answer if nobody else knows; I stick to the tough questions. It usually only amounts to a few answers per 2 hour class period. I also slouch in my seat and don't really participate in class aside from this, so I don't think I come off as arrogant.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you have to use any kind of strategy in order to keep your image and not to come off as arogant in someones eyes, then your uni/college suck, and people in it suck as well.

In October I moved to Full Tilt (mainly for rakeback) to play $0.50/$1.00 full ring No Limit, only got in about 15k hands and ended up -$73 but cleared $500 in bonus and about $140 in rackback.

Anyone know how the bonus affected my rakeback for the month? (I use rakerebate net) If there wasn't the $500 in bonus would I have gotten the full $500 or just 27% of that?

For November I plan on getting in 30k hands hopefully at a much better bb/100. I just got pahud and 6 table on my laptop (I have 1920x1200 res so not too much overlap) I've played a lot of SSNL and SNGs and MTTS the last several years but never been too serious about it but want to get more serious now (make enough monthly to max by roth ira and pay part of the mortgage)

Just converted to no limit from gay minibet poker. Seems pretty easy!

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($59)
MP ($99.50)
Button ($360.97)
SB ($112.40)
Hero ($406)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $2</font>, SB (poster) calls $1.50, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $9</font>, Button calls $8, SB folds.

Flop: ($22) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $15</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $60.57</font>, Hero calls $45.57.

Turn: ($143.14) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, Button calls $290.40 (All-In), Hero calls $290.40.

River: ($723.94) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $723.94

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has Ac Ks (full house, kings full of threes).
Button has 6c 7s (two pair, kings and threes).
Outcome: Hero wins $723.94. </font>

Your bonus is subtracted from your MGR, which is then multiplied by your rakeback %. I oversimplified it, but I think you get the drift.
