In hindsight I could have been overthinking myself. Put him on a 9 on the river and folded, however.

[/ QUOTE ] nld someone said raise is thin, i think so too, but i see value a hand like A8 or (really any 8 playing the K as a kicker) could see the raise as a bluff from a JT or T7 type hand, as well as a split trying to push them off - the reason they bet is to get called from a ace high hand that hero checked the flop (aq, aj, etc) or even bottom pair

[/ QUOTE ] u gotta be a huge nit if your opponents don't look you up here w/ worse than a king enough for this to be a bad raise. It really depends on the texture of the game... if the game was v aggro and you two were bluffing and bluff raising is in his percieved range of your hand, it's an easy raise/ fold to 3 bet imo. btw easy fold.
