Default ($60 turbo FT) This is a shove, right?

Villians have been really tight, as have I... I had a really good image... until last hand I shoved 52s into the SB, and called and sucked out on a shortstack who called with a big ace. Given that hand and that in general these guys have been very tight, what calling ranges are you assigning here?

the button may be calling pretty wide here, any pair, any A7+ KQ KJ QJ

the SB has to be calling really tight
and the BB wants to outlast the button

so id shove this one too

The only trouble is people spite call a lot after they see you push junk. I cant assign a range because different players react different when they see you push crap. It all depends how stupid they are.

I generally give opponents a lot of credit for their ability to make stupid calls, so unless I know that they are all nits, I have a hard time pulling the trigger with this hand after the last hand.

Agreed the stack arrangement makes this a very nice situation to bully, the biggest risk is if button calls and somebody else realizes they should come along, but often Villains aren't that clueful and will just stay out of the way.

Well it's not like T8o is total crap, it's just a little below average and this is a pretty sweet spot.

The garbage hand might have been a good push, however your image now sucks.

People often turn into sherrifs when you are running over a table after they see the crap youre pushing with. It wouldnt have surprised me if villains had J6s and Q5o instead of what they actually had.

I ran this thru sngpt the other day and all villains have to be extremely tight for this to be a +ev push. Your junk push & showdown the previous hand likely loosened them up to the point that this was a -ev push.
