Default 27 KQ SB min raiser

Edit: ok im a moron and deleted my coments i had here

The MP has done this before with horable hands. The button got his chips from AK and hitting a 4 flush on the river. He bet it on every street w/o pairing.

I figure: A) my cards are live B) i ahve amazing odds

Or AA...or KK...or QQ. Yeah, it's a distinct possibility here that someone has one of those five hands. But that's not really the point. The point is, playing KQo for a raise OOP early on in a SnG is simply bad strategy. Part of what makes SnG's so beatable is that so many people knock themselves out of it before the blinds get high...we sit around and play tight early-on, only getting involved when we are considerable faves (or w/ things like pocket pairs where we can play cheaply and stack someone when we hit)...and then employ solid push-fold strategy in the endgame to clean up what's left. KQo is simply not a strong enough hand given the variables presented here. You MAY (or may not) have two live cards...the point is, who cares?
