Jokes about the difference in stakes from winning at the step highers and the 11s, and Gigabet joking with lower-limit two plus two'ers who aren't in the same dimension as him normally. He has been posting a lot more lately, yet all the people can do with one of the best SNG resources is pick fights and namecall. Why? But it got dragged down in "you're a liar, prove your 215 ROI, no way is 70% possible" crap. |

[ QUOTE ]
Personally I have all the respect for Gigabet as a poker player and a theoretician of the game, and even though I disagree with some of the things he writes around here, there's nothing particularly personal about not-believeing the ROI numbers he was talking about, until we are proven otherwise. [/ QUOTE ] I'd just like to further add that when the day comes where people don't question Gigabet when he makes claims as grandiose as he did, 2+2 will be a lot worse for it. The attitude of making analytical assessments rather than just relying on authority is one of the things that initially appealed to me about 2+2 (vs., say, RGP at that time). |

Rare opportunity? Party gets off thousands of SNGs each and every day. At peak hours between the various sites there are probably a quarter of a million people playing poker online.
Watching is not learning. Questioning is learning. |

Thinking about things, even when you come up with the wrong answers, is how you get closer to the right answers and learn to figure the right answers out for yourself. If you stop thinking about things just because someone admirable says them, you might as well cut to the chase and drink the kool-aid straight off. |
