Default new to cash games.... straight draw OOP....100nl

Hero is BB, Villian is button. Villian a couple orbits earlier raised BB 3.5x with 97. Hero called w/ 66 and flop comes 7-7-3. Hero loses some money.

Now -- villian raises 3.5x. Hero calls w/ 7-5o.

Flop: 8-6-3

Hero check. Villain pots. Hero raises 3x. Villian raises another 2.5x.

Hero?

(better line just call flop bet?)

Stop playing raised pots with trash hands OOP and you won't have to make this thread. If you have to call this to protect your BB then lead out on flop or check fold to a pot bet.

I really hate the checkraise with a weak draw OOP (I guess you have to be OOP to CR...)

I guess I dont mind a flop flat-call.

you played this hand really bad IMO.

1. fold PF!
2. c/c flop, you do not need to disguise your hand here. when you hit, villain won't put you on 7-5

Glad I posted it. Seems like I see all these "ballers" over in BBV calling BB with stuff like this all the time. :P

Maybe not so good.

I've read NLHTAP twice, but too much of my limit game still leaking over I guess.

I don't hate the c/r as much as everyone else. It's going to be hard to figure out the turn (assuming he just calls) without knowing a little more about the villain.
