What do these tiny little bets mean?
4/180: Villain seems tight and solid, has been among the chip leaders all tourney.

Re: What do these tiny little bets mean?
FD, A7ish hands, set trying to set a price or induce a raise.
Turn's a shrug, but are you hoping to win with A high here? Be pretty sick if you could. Could raise to 3.2k and see what happens, but I'd be inclined to fold and find a less weird spot with your stack. You're not even ahead of 22 here. |

Re: What do these tiny little bets mean?
third pot out of position on the flop, fifth pot out of position on the turn, solid villain...
I would think this means this guy is not afraid of the flush. I would put villain on AQo with the spade ace, or pocket 7s, or a pocket pair between 7 and q with a spade. On the turn isnt this guy down to a 5k stack, with 4k in the pot, and he bets 800? That just has to be a pot sweetener. I walk away. |

Re: What do these tiny little bets mean?
These are situations where I try to get to the river as cheaply as possible to see what he had when he was doing all these little bets. If the guy makes a big value bet on the river, then it is obvious what he was doing the whole way.
