My understanding is that the majority of their operations are in Costa Rica (a third world country). I do not trust a site that operates from a third world country.

Most articles on internet cite it as so. I do not disagree that on your point that they are politically stable, but they are definitely a third world country. Anyways, I would consider myself a complete moron to trust my money in a business that has the majority of their operations in a thirld world country. Ex.
