Shorthanded - call the all in?
I've been lurking here a while, after reading 4 books from 2+2 publishing. Figured I'd take advantage of the brainpower on these forums to refine my game.
No Limit Hold'em Sit and Go $5 +.50 Hero is at seat 0 with 7090. Villan is at seat 5 with 6175. SB is at seat 6 with 1735. The button is at seat 5. SB posts the small blind of 20. Hero posts the big blind of 40. Hero: Qh Ad Villan: -- -- jakeylove: -- -- Pre-flop: Villan raises to 140. jakeylove folds. sarah in mass re-raises to 340. Villan calls. Flop (board: Ah Ts 6s): Hero bets 700. Villan goes all-in for 5835. Hero ????? So my question is should I call or not. so far in this SnG I've knocked out 6 players to build my stack. I do not have much of a read on the Villan, Seems like a TAG, but I'm not sure. I have only crossed paths with him 2x and won both without a showdown. This is his first all-in raise of the tournament. He has called them in the past. Please be descriptive! saying "call" or "fold" without a reason doesn't do anyone any good. thanks |

Re: Shorthanded - call the all in?
Assuming this was a 9 man SnG - getting to 3 handed at 20/40 blinds is crazy.
You have tons of time to get a more favorable situation. I'd probably pass on putting in 150BB more with top pair second kicker. |

Re: Shorthanded - call the all in?
I tired 4 converters, with none of them working... should have mentioned that.
I'm pulling this directly from the Hand history of the site, and all the converters listed UB as a valid source. Am I supposed to pull the hand history from somewhere else? |

Re: Shorthanded - call the all in?
i cant really tell whats going on with this hand, but im going to assume you have AQ, something happened preflop, and now youve flopped TPGK on a reasonably good flop at a 5 dollar buy in sit and go.
im gonna have to say dont fold to any bet (or go all in, in other words) |

Re: Shorthanded - call the all in?
This http://www.neildewhurst.com/hand-converter/ is by far the best converter though it's a bit slow. And you must save the setting first (remember to choose the "show stacks" option).
Also it might be helpful to add the buy-in in the title of the post. |
