Default Sklansky on Razz

Hi,

Just clicking through a few links on Amazon, I came across a page for this book. Apparently the book's not available, but there was a picture of the cover - it looked pretty old and battered.

Is this an old 2+2 publication? Is it still in print? What's the story?

I'm not sure about who originally published it. It has been incorporated into Sklansky on Poker which is a current 2 + 2 book.

I think that's Doyles's old copy.

Its one of his best books, no joke. You will crush Razz games, its very easy to read and comprehend the concepts.

I always find it confusing when people claim that you will crush a certain game after heaving read a specific book. What if the other guys read it also? I mean who is so stupid to play for a significant amount of money without having read it?
Overall I'd say it's the minimum requirement to read this book before you sit down on a Razz table.

This is the flaw in your reasoning.

This is true, but games like lowball draw, seven-card stud hi-lo split with no qualifier, and seven-card razz you can.

I think he was not giving his own opinion, but quoting the typical bad player who sits at a table without having read books about the game.
