My question is, "What are you hoping people put you on? K-J? K-8s (diamonds)? Those are possible. It's a pure bluff for sure, but I'm a bit worried that someone's going to call with any jack here because they would be right to think you weren't best going into the river.
I think the play works more than it doesn't, so at the very least it's a good bet. |

unless you have a real good plan andor belive your opponents are going to spew horribly on a straightening river, then yuou're just spewing.

Why not fold pf, pokerlaw? Seems... out of character.
I never put that much stock in how long a player takes to act. And I find that there're just too many donks out there who call with A high because it would absolutely kill them to fold the best hand. But I'm curious how this little experiment worked out for you. |
