Default QQ in SB vs. BB ... unexpected action

BB 35/23/2.3/WTS 33 over 500 hands

Really laggy dude and he's killing me. Now it's time for a payback... so I thought.

Getting raised on the flop is standard against him, here I try to c/r any non A turn and see it working due to his aggression.

So, it worked the way I wanted and then he 3-balls me unexpectedly.

How did I play this?

Limit: $5/$10
5 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (5 players) TheOffice is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
2 folds, Button calls, <font color="#cc0000">TheOffice raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB 3-bets</font>, Button folds, <font color="#cc0000">TheOffice caps</font>, BB calls.

Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (7.4SB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">TheOffice bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises</font>, TheOffice calls.

Turn: 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5.7BB, 2 players)
TheOffice checks, <font color="#cc0000">BB bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">TheOffice raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB re-raises</font>, TheOffice calls.

River: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (11.7BB, 2 players)
TheOffice checks, <font color="#cc0000">BB bets</font>, TheOffice calls.

Results:
Final pot: 13.7BB

That's fine or just 3-bet the flop. Don't ever fold on this board vs. this guy.

i like it. he's ahead way more often now that he's CRed the turn but you're still good way too often to fold, i think.

What do you think his range is here that makes you so keen to try to extract?

[/ QUOTE ]

Mostly 8x/9x(all with lower kickers since he raises Q9+ pf)/small jx like J6 To a lesser extent: low pp's(66-22)/FD/Tx/Qx/7x/A-high/pure air/98/J8(I think he raises J9 mostly)/T7. I figure he c/r's (or makes some retardo slowplay) more often then not with the stuff that beats me.

Depends on how the rest of the table is. I've never much minded having lags behind me because I've spent time developing ways to reduce their positional advantage, but if the guy's really annoying you and putting you off your game then moving is a must.
