A Weird Spot OOP w/ AA
This is at a small non PT supported site, so sorry for no converter or stats.
.5/1 NL 100 Max buy in. Hero has $105 CO covers Hero is in the SB w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] CO open limps, 1 Fold, Hero raises to 4.5, BB folds, CO calls. Flop: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (pot $9.5) Hero bets $8, CO min raises to $16, hero thinks and calls. Turn 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (pot $41) Hero checks, CO Pushes for about $80 more, Hero? CO is a regular in these games, there is some crazy aggression but not very often. 78, spads, 44+ are in his range. I don't think he does this on a total bluff, although I have been kind of active in a lot of pots. |

Re: A Weird Spot OOP w/ AA
I think you can find a better spot to get all the money in.

Re: A Weird Spot OOP w/ AA
this is a very hard hand fwiw.
True I would rather fold here than call in most spots. Especially given flop action and turn card. |

Re: A Weird Spot OOP w/ AA
I just fold this. You don't have odds to call for the flush. Too many hands beat you and you're drawing dead against any set.

Yea I think you're a pretty big dog against a reasonable range in this spot.

Re: A Weird Spot OOP w/ AA
What do people think of leading the turn for 20? As played, I think this is a fold.

Re: A Weird Spot OOP w/ AA
I was wondering what people thought about my turn play also. The min raise kind of froze me, I immediately thought "ok, try not to get stacked." which led to my turn check. This might not be the best play.
