I just signed up with an affiliate and checked my rake on BetonBet for 10/25 and it shows $18.50, Poker Office shows I raked $48.55, do you know why there's a difference? Is the rakeback calculated after Prima takes its share from BetonBet?

what is your rakeback percentage your affiliate is providing you...it sounds like maybe the figure of $48.55 is the total rake you paid to BetonBet (your MGR) and the $18.50 figure is your actual rakeback you are receiving based on your percentage...probably 35%-40% I am guessing. I could be way off here, but this is just my thought based on the figures you are providing...best thing to do would be to email your affiliate and ask exactly how they are calculating your rakeback. Hope this helps!

I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong but it is my understanding Prima uses a unique rakeback calculation.
Let's say you are small blind. Someone in front of you raises and everyone folds including you but the big blind calls. There is action and the rake eventually gets capped at $3. You would get credit for $1 of that rake just by being one of the contributing players regardless of the % of the pot you actually contributed. All other contributed sites would only give you credit for the % of the pot that the small blind was. In the above example let's say the pot got to $100 and your small blind was $1. You would only get credit for 1% of the rake, in this case $.03. I'm sure if I am wrong I will get corrected. |

One of the CSR's at BetonBet told me it's the total rake I paid, so I would get 35% of that. I double checked everything including when rakeback ends for each day compared to when I played and everything seems to show that I paid $48.50 for that day. Can some others who play there check to see if rakeback is being calculated correctly. rackback ends at 0.0EST.

How do they do it, I thought it was the rake on both pots won and lost.
