All of Owens's close friends thought he may have attempted suicide, even though it turns out he didn't, because he was very depressed. He was depressed because his fiance had just left him after catching him in bed with a man. She then told his ex-wife, who told him he could no longer see his kid.

This both made me laugh and did not really suprise me all that much.
