Convert your Monster \"freerolls\" to cash - big ripoff?
I couldn't find a thread on this. I'm not sure when it happened, but you can now convert your Monster "freerolls" into cash:
Party's calculation of freeroll values weekly: $100.02 monthly: $350.09 finale: $1,800.72 All their calculations seem to be fair, except the most important one. They have a prize pool of $14.4M and are saying that an entry into the "Grand Finale" is worth $14.4M/8,000. But, since they cancelled the promotion _way_ before 8000 people have grand finale entries (or the % chance to get them from weekly/monthlies), it seems to me that they are simply stealing the bulk of the money. cheers, -highland |

Re: Convert your Monster \"freerolls\" to cash - big ripoff?
its discussed many times here. In my opinion no rippoff but a wrong explanation. In my personal view no tournament, no TV-Money.no added prizemoney. In fact Party paid 16 weeklys and 2 monthly out of there pockets and 5 Mill from the final.
In this way 14,4 million minus 8,6 added money = 5,8 million And they pay out more than that |

not sure how you couldn't find the threads on this topic as so many posters seem to be really ticked-off about it and won't give it up.

I'm past the denial & anger phases and have reached acceptance/sadness. Here's the thread megathread (If you bump the thread be prepared to be flamed by some Frommagio guy) |
