I usually check turn more than betting. Betting is ok though.

River I think call.

Seems like a clear call on the river.

Several draws have missed and if he actually had a better hand wouldn't he have done something with it before the river?

I agree but still unsure, think in the heat of the moment when someone who hasn't gotten ouf of line does something like this i'm going to give the credit.

plan was a river check. i like a check on one of these streets, either turn or river.

i thought he had somethine like KQ w/ K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or maybe just naked A or K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Also can't see why he'd just shove like this with KQ or even AK (not so likely in my mind).

edit: thought the Q was a K so AK w/ A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] is a possibility but don't you think he'd raise this up preflop a majority of the time?

I don't see how this can be a call
If I read this right you have to call 225 to win 675 or something so you need to be ahead 1/3rd of the time to break even.
Average players don't check push on a bluffm and unless he is amazingly bad he knows one pair is not a great hand at this point so I think this type of player will extremely rarely be behind here.

I fold quickly.

You don't think he shows Ah or KhQ 1/3 of the time? He's gotta be pretty bad if he didn't get his $ in with any flush on the turn.
