Default call all-in early on? $1.1

2nd hand. 1 limper in mp, co goes all in. I'm the button with JJ. stack sizes are all about the same. Call?

There's the outside chance that he means call 50% of the time, but I'm folding this 100%.

We do know the raiser to be an idiot. He just went all in for like 75BBs or something.

I guess I call and fire up another one when I lose.

You need his range to be top 8% or looser about in order for this to be profitable. This kind of huge huge shove could well be aces or kings trying to fool someone(you) into thinking he is an idiot, and at worst he steals the limp and blinds without having his kings or aces cracked.

It could also very well be 44 or AK and he just wants to drag the chips since he knows almost no one would call him on the first hand for all their chips unless they hold a premium, which is just too unlikely.

Clearly tho, if this is a major live tournament with a big buyin, you fold your jacks.

Heres really what I recommend. Pull out a dollar, burn it. Then hit the call button. Worst case you only lose another dollar but it probably wasnt quite as stupid as burning the dollar was. Best case, you effectively get your dollar back when you show that he is a donk for pushing his low pocket (70bb+)
