Default $16 - wierd bubble spot

I don't have the exact hand history but this is close enough

300/600 with a 25 ante

UTG - 5 chips after posting ante
BB - ~6500
SB - ~2500
ME on button - ~4000

UTG calls all in for his five chips. I have A8o.

Is this a good spot a push, or does the added chance of getting 4th (maybe 20-30% if I get called?) make it a fold?

How about with a worse hand like A2o?

i would need QQ(mbJJ)+ to get involved here. i dont think it's worth pushing with a bad hand and getting called by BB when we could easily walk into ITM and pwn.

What's your read on BB?? If he has a normal range, I'd probably push. Do you really think you have a 20-30% chance of busting?? That sounds high to me....

If he was being pushed into I would agree with you (actually he should fold everything then)....but he's the one pushing and he can pick up 900 in blinds.....SB is almost a guranteed fold, but even if SB calls, he's not going to bust in 4th no matter what. BB needs to not only pick up a calling hand, but have the hand hold up. I think button can profitably push a lot of hands. The blinds are huge....

I would push here. The only way you don't cash is if BB calls, beats you, and the 5 chips wins the main. Odds are BB folds.
