[ QUOTE ] I'm looking for a Vegas answer. [/ QUOTE ] This thread has gone a long time without discussion of this important location. [/ QUOTE ] I haven't found anything yet. That's saying a lot. Best of the lot are second-rate chicago chains that have established here, e.g. Rosati's and Aurelio's. There's also Papreza's, and that's about it as far as non-national chains. I hear Metro pizza is good but have never been because of the lack of close location |

[ QUOTE ]
Pizzeria Bianco, Phoenix http://www.azcentral.com/ent/best200...stpizza18.html [/ QUOTE ] This answer is fine in the formal dinner or date sense, but it doesn't qualify from a delivery or family restaurant perspective, which I believe are the balance of respondents in this thread. I know it's a chain (locally at least, not sure if it's national) but my vote goes to Rosati's, which does Chicago-style pizza very well. There are a few locations in the Valley, and I've never been disappointed. EDIT: I see bugstud referenced Rosati's in Vegas, so I guess it's not just a Phoenix phenomenon. But I wouldn't agree with his assessment of it being "second rate". |

Earlier last week I was thinking how miserable I will be without a weekly pizza in Vegas, I have to find alternatives. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |

Re: Best pizza place in your town
yahoo yp listings for Metro Pizza:
http://yp.yahoo.com/py/ypResults.py?stx=...hxQQx9s4ITP2A-- locations are: - Decatur N of Flamingo - Arville near the Orleans - Koval S of Flamingo - Trop E of Maryland yahoo reviews are mixed. the Review-Journal likes Metro Pizza. readers of the Review-Journal prefer Pizza Hut, probably because most of the people who live in Las Vegas (and perhaps all who read the Review-Journal) are severely retarded. http://www.reviewjournal.com/bestofl...sp?bestID=8708 |

[/ QUOTE ] Gourmet Magazine once had a survey that listed The Olive Garden as the best Italian restaurant in San Diego, so the above doesn't surprise me at all. Sad isn't it?
