I'm looking for a Vegas answer.

This thread has gone a long time without discussion of this important location.

I haven't found anything yet. That's saying a lot. Best of the lot are second-rate chicago chains that have established here, e.g. Rosati's and Aurelio's. There's also Papreza's, and that's about it as far as non-national chains.

I hear Metro pizza is good but have never been because of the lack of close location

Pizzeria Bianco, Phoenix

This answer is fine in the formal dinner or date sense, but it doesn't qualify from a delivery or family restaurant perspective, which I believe are the balance of respondents in this thread.

I know it's a chain (locally at least, not sure if it's national) but my vote goes to Rosati's, which does Chicago-style pizza very well. There are a few locations in the Valley, and I've never been disappointed.

EDIT: I see bugstud referenced Rosati's in Vegas, so I guess it's not just a Phoenix phenomenon. But I wouldn't agree with his assessment of it being "second rate".

Where are each of these places located? Earlier last week I was thinking how miserable I will be without a weekly pizza in Vegas, I have to find alternatives.

yahoo yp listings for Metro Pizza:

http://yp.yahoo.com/py/ypResults.py?stx=...hxQQx9s4ITP2A--

locations are:

- Decatur N of Flamingo
- Arville near the Orleans
- Koval S of Flamingo
- Trop E of Maryland

yahoo reviews are mixed.

the Review-Journal likes Metro Pizza. readers of the Review-Journal prefer Pizza Hut, probably because most of the people who live in Las Vegas (and perhaps all who read the Review-Journal) are severely retarded.

Gourmet Magazine once had a survey that listed The Olive Garden as the best Italian restaurant in San Diego, so the above doesn't surprise me at all. Sad isn't it?

I actually eat Rosati's more often since they have many locations but the the freshness of the toppings at Pizzeria Bianco can't be beat. Their antipasto is also out of this world.
