Re: Full Tilt has lost my action

You did the normal stuff. [/ QUOTE ] No I didn't. I did far more than could reasonably be expected. [ QUOTE ] The guy who reinstalled XP did the normal stuff. [/ QUOTE ] A complete reformat and reinstall of your operating system is normal, is it? [ QUOTE ] The other dozen or so folks who have said they had problems, have they done the normal stuff? [/ QUOTE ] Who gives a [censored]? Multiple posters have tried everything to ensure that the problem is not client-side and the issue still persists. This refutes the statements you have been making in this forum that there is nothing wrong with their software or servers. [ QUOTE ] Now can the attitude will ya? [/ QUOTE ] This from the guy who has been responding to people making legitimate complaints about FT's performance with stuff like "Yeah except you're wrong"? Look, I didn't come here to get into long-winded internet arguments and I don't have anything against you. I just want to figure out what's wrong with Full Tilt so I can play there. If you find my attitude abrasive you can always put me on ignore. |

Re: Full Tilt has lost my action
I haven't read all the posts here but I've had upto 6 tables open and playing them on a 6yr old Dell computer with 450mb of ram or so (yea I know its weird number) with WinXP Pro and the only time I've had this problem is when I leave my virus scan program up (VShield). It seems like my system wil lock up for a few seconds to 10s of seconds when the action tries to shift from tables or a hand finishes. If I disable VShield, the problem goes away. I've not had any issues like this at P*, UB, PR, Titan or PP but just with FT.
Maybe not the exact problem but my .02c. |

No, it really isn't. 95% is fine if you're making cheap clock radios. It's totally unacceptable if you're making artificial hearts. [/ QUOTE ] I'd say online poker would be more comparible to cheap clock radios than it would be to artificial hearts. |

No I didn't. I did far more than could reasonably be expected. [/ QUOTE ] Which included the normal stuff. [ QUOTE ] A complete reformat and reinstall of your operating system is normal, is it? [/ QUOTE ] No, I'm assuming he did the normal stuff before he got that far. [ QUOTE ] Who gives a [censored]? [/ QUOTE ] Um, the people at Full Tilt who are trying to address issues with their client? People who are considering playing at Full Tilt who concerned there might be issues? [ QUOTE ] Multiple posters have tried everything to ensure that the problem is not client-side and the issue still persists. This refutes the statements you have been making in this forum that there is nothing wrong with their software or servers. [/ QUOTE ] And multiple people have posted that they have no problems whatsoever. [ QUOTE ] This from the guy who has been responding to people making legitimate complaints about FT's performance with stuff like "Yeah except you're wrong"? [/ QUOTE ] What did I say was wrong? [ QUOTE ] Problem is that FT don't have stable internet connection and/or software. [/ QUOTE ] The fact that a tiny percentage of people have issues doesn't mean they don't have a stable internet connection and it doesn't mean they don't have stable software. It means there's some kind of compatibility issue with a tiny percentage of users. |

[/ QUOTE ] And multiple people have posted that they have no problems whatsoever. [/ QUOTE ] So [censored] what? The point of this whole thread is that some people are having issues with FT that cannot be remedied by the end user. It is totally immaterial that other people aren't having problems. This is like saying "I don't have cancer, and nor do some other posters, so cancer doesn't exist". Why even post this? [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] This from the guy who has been responding to people making legitimate complaints about FT's performance with stuff like "Yeah except you're wrong"? [/ QUOTE ] What did I say was wrong? [/ QUOTE ] ...Eh? It's your own post? You tell me [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Problem is that FT don't have stable internet connection and/or software. [/ QUOTE ] The fact that a tiny percentage of people have issues doesn't mean they don't have a stable internet connection and it doesn't mean they don't have stable software. [/ QUOTE ] If there is a compatibility issue that causes massive timeout-inducing lag for some proportion of their user base then their software is not stable is it?? I'm done responding to you. You are either obtuse or trolling. |

[/ QUOTE ] If it's a sufficiently small population then yes. [ QUOTE ] I'm done responding to you. [/ QUOTE ] Goody. [ QUOTE ] You are either obtuse or trolling. [/ QUOTE ] No. You are so wrapped up in the fact that it isn't working for you that you're saying that the software doesn't work when it clearly does. Have fun at Stars and UB |

For the thousandth time [/ QUOTE ] Or, first time in this thread. Obviously, I didn't read any other threads involving around this issue, and you can't expect people to do so, whether they are linked or not. |

[/ QUOTE ] destro, Here is the first time it was referenced in this thread, four hours and 14 posts prior to your post. I realise the actual ping -t data is linked but it is spelt out very clearly that more than one person has conducted this test and proven their connections are not at fault. |
