I always heard people say Apizza Scholls on Hawthorne was the best, but I never ate there.

I haven't been in a long time, but there was a NY style joint downtown that was pretty good. Can't remember the name or which street exactly it was on though. Think it was north of the Max line a couple blocks and maybe west of Broadway.

my favorite 'normal' pizza in st. louis is at il vicino: salsiccia plus anchovies.

my favorite st. louis style pizza is almost a toss-up between imo's sausage & pepperoni and the same at serra pizzeria. edge imo's.

i love the blackened chicken at cj muggs. it's a house-made pizza with mozzarella and provel cheese, blackened chicken, andouille sausage, and a sauce that is basically a mix of mustard and tobasco.

Another in Portland that we used to get at work all the time was Pizzacato. Don't know where it is cause we always had it delivered but it had to be in/around downtown.

ive found that whole foods has really really good pizza... about $11 for a large spinach+mushroom+garlic... and it owns pretty much any pizza here.
