Best big run table game - xpost

Bah, I posted this in other gambling games, but no one reads that forum. I've had the itch to play table games lately.

I've played numerous table game, but I generally play pretty conservatively. I often see people hear tell stories of how they had a huge score and turned $100 into 1k or more playing table games.

So I am wondering, what game and strategy would you suggest to turn $100 into a good score. Risk of ruin is obviously high of course, but playing $5 a hand blackjack is no fun. So give me a game to play and a strategy, and also post any huge score stories you have had at the tables. Stories are a big plus.

making a big run at craps will probably be way more fun than any other kind of gamble, and they all obviously have about the same chance of success (or failure. mostly failure.)

turned $100 >> $3000+ a couple times playing blackjack. At the end I was playing $200-300/hand. Of course I ended up losing it all back + more later on...but thats another story

Wager $33 on random number in european roulette three times in a row (or three numbers at the same time). You hit, you cash out $1188. You wager only $100 so you lose only $1.44 in equity per gambooool. If you'll try to make $900 betting $5 per hand in blackjack you'll have to wager like five billion dollars and that won't be cheap.
