I'd call. BB could easily have a flush draw or an overpair.

The fact that he re-raised all-in makes me think it's less likely he has the nut straight or bigger set (though still possible, of course).

Unless he is really bad the range for his push on the flop is JJ+ or AKhh, as he did raise in his bb. Call happily.

Also, raise preflop.

re: raise preflop - not sure I agree, DEPENDING on what's your image.
this villian is dependably raising the pot for us.
If he sees you as LP or TAG why not let him take the initiative.
See a cheap (1 raise) flop.
If you miss it's an easy fold.
If you hit, we will be very well disguised and it's very possible he'll get out ahead of his hand thinking you're weak.
So this line means we're likely to either lose a small pot or win a huge pot.

Lets pretend you did raise preflop and villian calls. Then
whether you spike a 7 on the flop or not, you'll c-bet and probably
play for a small pot. Deep LAG villian won't get too far out of line
with just a pair or draw in the face of your strength.
I think this line makes us more likely to win a small pot
(or lose a small pot if we miss and he calls our c/b) but
just about eliminates the likelihood of a monster pot.

Thoughts?

As played, to bet-3bet 300BB I'm not sure I can put him on just a big pair.
T9 (no hearts) tops my list & is well in his range, 25%PFR psycho LAG easily would pop 3 limpers from the BB with a suited T9.
AJh/KJh/QJh/JTh group comes in second. Better set is 3rd.
Against any of those if you're behind you still have 35% chance of boating up.
Don't know what I do. Probably call and pray for running deuce-deuce.

I'm not a big fan of calling all ins preflop with kk this deep, and thats actually the thread I stopped in to read, but I call this all day everyday.

insta call.
youre only realistically losing to ONE hand, JJ.
most guys dont raise 9Ts or 88 out of the BB after 3 limpers. this is AA/KK/AKhh at least 3/4 of the time

thanks for all the advice. I did end up calling him due to the loose image he had and he obv. had 8-8 which ruined my night. It's a really weird way to play 8-8 though, I put him on QQ+ and thought I was good. The 3 bet just doesn't make any sense to me for a set, it looks like a scared protection please fold bet.

I don't know about the pre-flop raise advice against a player like that with 7-7? Maybe I'm being too nitty about it though.
