alright, two things here:

1) to run ipconfig, run "cmd" first, then type ipconfig

2) i dunno how computer savvy you are, but are you familiar with what a DMZ Host is?

[/ QUOTE ]

Ah...forgot about the cmd (I'm not that computer savvy). I don't know what the dmz host is.

tried ping. It gave me some options, I'm picking a few. They are like "ping [-t]".

[/ QUOTE ]

tried "ping metaculture.net" that is my DNS. All packets were lost (4 sent, 0 received).

Maybe your internet tubes are clogged. Did you send any email today?

!!! - Well you know what to do when that happens? Summon the lotto powerball!

Twoplustwo is one of the better sites to be stuck on. Lots of excellent IT support so far. I'm impressed.

That one worked just fine. Also tried my IP address (that may be abs. pointless but no the less) that worked too. Belkin. I hate it. I'm going to get a new one soon. Probably Motorola.

I sometimes have the exact same problem as you.

Poker rooms are fine, but can only access 2+2 and nothing else on the net.

It's been happening for a long time. Have no idea what sets this off.

If I reboot, everything is fine again.
