http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/rake.php

I can see how it would be difficult. It doesn't seem to be linked to directly from any menus, but you can click on a link to it if you read the text on their real money page.

Playing 6 max NL the difference between pokerstars and full tilt is that at PS with 5 players sitting the max rake is only $2 and at FT it is $3, however when it is heads up at stars the max rake is $1 where as at FT it is only $0.50. I had heard elsewhere that you pay more to FT's rake then PS's rake, but apparently this is simply not true for 6 max NL, unless you find yourself in a lot of games with exactly 5 players and pots that are consistently over $60.

PS's rake chart: http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/rake/

Max rake at .50/1.00 full table is only 50c. Bargain!

The rake at FT is amazingly low. So low it makes rakeback almost worthless. LOL Is this good or bad :-)

Does FT show the rake as it's taken? I didn't notice it, but I haven't looked that hard.

Yeah, but they rape their $10 NL players for 10% rake every hand. For shame, Full Tilt, trying to increase your margins on the backs of your penniless low stakes players, For Shame.

The rake for limit 6-max on FT is somewhat worse than Stars imo. Not hugely significant but definitely has an impact.
Moreso for limit 6-max players at 5/10 and higher.

This is because the max rake is still $3 even 5-handed on FT.
It doesn't go down to $2 max until 4-handed.

Also - max-rake on Stars isn't taken until pot is $70.
On FTP it's for a $60 pot.

Example:
3/6 or 5/10 6-max table:

FTP $60 pot, 6 handed = $3 rake
Stars $69 pot, 6 handed = $2 rake

FTP $60 pot, 5 handed = $3 rake
FTP $100 pot, 5 handed = $2 rake

It's very difficult to play 6-max tables and not have a significant percentage of your play be 5-handed.
And if you play 5/10 or higher than many of your pots will be $60 or higher.

Thus the rake difference does have an impact.

Obviously you get back more of that on FTP with RB...and we all know that the Stars FPP system is kind of lousy.
Might be able to find more fish on FTP also to make the rake-hike worthwhile.

But for rake-structure vs. rakeback for 3/6 and 5/10 limit 6-max it looks like Stars is the clear winner.
But if it's rake-structure vs. rakeback + clearing on those big $500 bonuses or something then I have to think FTP takes the lead.
