Default Full Tilt ridic slow for anyone else today?

It was almost unplayable for me. Never experienced anything like it, except during an extremely long session the other night, when it slowed down momentarily but returned to normal.

Reboot your computer. Reinstall FTP software. Scan for viruses/spyware (and remove any found).

Check speed of FTP after each of these steps.

This is happening to me everyday the first time I open the client, which is odd because I never shutdown my computer. After the first time it doesn't happen again for the rest of the day so it's not a big deal for me. Their support is amazing tho so I'll probably screen shot this and send it to them today.

FT's Mac app has been monopolizing the processor of my Powerbook all week, to the point of giving the appearance of total puter lock-up. If you're on a Mac this may be the issue. Open Activity Monitor to check. If so, please email support.

Got this today from FT Support:

Hello --------,

We have identified an issue with our most recent Mac update and are
working on a solution to the problem. In the mean time, if you are
experiencing problems with slow response or are unable to perform an
action, we do have a couple of suggestions to improve your performance
in the interim.

1) After opening up any cash tables, select the "Tournaments" tab in
the lobby as opposed to "Hold'em", "Omaha", etc. This should reduce the
amount of resources your computer uses to refresh the poker client.

2) In addition, turning off Animations may also speed up your game
performance as well. You can do this by selecting "Options" in your
menu bar, and then unchecking the "Animations" selection.

If you continue to have problems, please let us know.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to have this resolved as
soon as possible.

Regards,

DaveM
