Default JJ Facing river block bet

Villain is 27/6/1.5

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $29.40
UTG+1: $6.70
CO: $25.35
Hero: $41.15
SB: $25.10
BB: $7.95

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG raises to $0.85, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.9, 2 folds, UTG calls.

I reraise here. I want to know if I'm against AA or KK. Flat call leads me to believe AK or QQ.

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($6.15, 2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $4.5, UTG calls.

C-bet and get called fairly quickly. At this point I think he has either AK hearts or QQ.

Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($15.15, 2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks.

I consider betting and probably should have here. I didn't want to create a large pot here if I'm against QQ (or possibly a slow-played AA/KK)

River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($15.15, 2 players)
UTG bets $5, Hero ?

Villain puts out a block bet. He then announces he has QQ in chat and that he's calling no matter what I do. I strongly believe he has QQ at this point, but conversely I'm getting 4 to 1 on a call and he may think I have a hand like AK since I checked the turn.

As played what should I do on river? Should I fold since my read is he has QQ? Or should I call since I checked the turn showing weakness and I'm getting 4 to 1 odds on a call?

Also is checking the turn bad?

Thanks.

as played call.

i prefer betting turn (about $7, folding to a c\r), and checking behind on river. imo, this river bet isn't necessarily a blocking bet, it could be a value bet\bluff, as you checked behind turn and villian could see you for missed overs.

also, you're playing NL25. don't limit your opponents to 2 hands, most opponents at this level are retarted, and have a much larger range here.

Bet the turn, it sucks soemtimes as you get minraised but good thing here is you have position so we got to use it vs these FDs.

If he called that we'd want to check behind river unless hes a donkey.

River is tough, we only beat 77/99 and bet is small so prob not a bluff.

ID call alot of the time, this extra info makes me want to fold but to say "i have QQ" is meaning less, he may be bsing.

i call 4:1

Reply that you have 88 and raise.

Seriously, I like the way you played this. But, I probably bet about ten on the turn, and check behind/call river. My plan on the turn when I check instead would be to call a river bet or check behind at this point. As played, I just call the river regardless of what he says.

call river every time. i wouldn't take anything said in the chat box seriously. you have a hand and are getting 4:1. even if he's telling the truth a large % of the time, you're still doing ok.

I think a push has a good chance to take this down, if your not scared of variance do it. he doesn't want to be raised and his chat also increases the chance of an unhit AK.

If he has an 'unhit' AK why on earth would I push?
