JJ facing a raise and a push
This is from a 4/180. The original raiser is 26/20 and the pusher has just been moved to the table. The original raiser once raised to 2xBB and folded to my re-raise. This time he raises to 4xBB.

Re: JJ facing a raise and a push
you are in the squeeze. The re-raise may or may not have a real hand, but it is fairly certain that the original raiser has something.
Fold and get 'em later. |

Re: JJ facing a raise and a push
In a 4/180 this is really close. Like really really close.
The best play in reality is to fold and puke when they show you an AK and an AQ. However I'm not sure if I have the discipline in a 4/180 to do this. I'd venture to say that if pushing with JJ here is an error, it's not an error by all that much. In real life, I probably push back with this hand in about half the scenarios I see, dependant on reads. This may be a leak. |

[/ QUOTE ] Pretty much all of this is incorrect. This is not a squeeze, no one is cold-calling. It is fairly certain that the Pusher has a real hand, obviously, because he is re-raising. The original raiser raises 20%, few of which are real hands. I probably call this in a $4, and don't expect to get called by the original raiser very often. |
