Default Xpost with BBV, sporty and dressy watch?

Like the title says Ive decided I want a watch.

Looking for something sporty and dressy at the same time. Prob a metal band of some kind, I sorta like the platinum type metal look. Not looking to spend more then 1k unless it is something amazing.

It would need to look equally at home running, hiking, riding, climbing, and sking as it would with a suit. I am far to active to own a watch that can only be worn part of the time.

Ideas?

Thanks,
Evan

Seiko Alpinist. I got mine directly from Higuchi -- they don't sell them in the U.S. About $295.

I would say a TAG. In reality though, you really need different watches. No dress watch should look good while you are running a marathon, same goes for dinner date, you aren't going to wear your Casio sport...

I have 3-4 watches, but mostly only wear 1.

The Tag I thought of retails for 2k. I've seen it at reputable places on the web for 1195.

I would feel comfy wearing about anywhere but a jog.

They do make one close to the Kirium (in fact it might be part of the Kirium line) with some kind of rubber looking band. But then I don't know how good that would be for some kind of black tie affair.

I don't dress too fancy very often....so I may not be the one to ask.
