Default Overpair vs some turn aggression

Villain covered me by a few bucks, not very deep (both had around $95). I'm a newbie to NL so I'd like to know what the "standard" bets would be on the flop/turn. What if I had AKo instead?

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
6 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (6 players) Mister Z is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG folds, Mister Z raises to $3.5, CO folds, Button calls, 2 folds.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($8.5, 2 players)
Mister Z bets $6, Button calls.

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($20.5, 2 players)
Mister Z bets $12, Button raises to $32, Mister Z...

...more of this hand to follow.

I may bet a little bit more on the flop, ~7, and I guess the turn bet could be a little bigger too.

I'd fold to his turn raise.

If you had AKo, probably call the turn and either c/c the river or block it.

I'd bet the turn a little bit more. 15 or so, probably.

I think you can fold to the raise. 55, 88, 22 are all in his range. At this point, you just need to decide if he's bluffing (maybe with a draw) based on what he sees as a weak turn bet.

Personally, I tend to respect the hell out of turn raises unless I have reason to believe otherwise.

With AKo instead, I'm checking the turn. If he bets, I'll call and block river for 1/2 pot. If he checks behind, I'll bet 3/4 pot on the river.

So before he raised the turn he took quite a bit of time before he raised. This smelled like bluff to me and it was very unlikely the K helped him given the PF action so I call his raise. The river is the 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I check and he pushes...

So now to break down likely hands I'm losing to:
1 combo of 55
2 of 88
2 of 22

Hands I'm ahead of that he's bluffing/semibluffing with... a small PP (33,44,66,77,maybe 99), something like A8s, A2s. Obviously a lot of combos.

So based on this and the fact that the pot is now huge do I have a call here? Does my turn call still look horrible?

unlikely river push is a hand you can beat since you called turn raise. Unless you have reads to indicate a call here I would fold even given the attractive odds.

i think the turn is pretty scary for you, as you are against a button float.... random Kx is well w/in his range, and he would have called the flop.... i let this one go on the turn to the rr

or, if I don't want to let it go and villain is agg I ch/call the turn?

Tough spot on turn. I would prolly fold there.

As played, I fold the river without a read.

Now you fold. If you had AK the decision would have been tougher, but its probably a fold too.
