Re: QQ headsup
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] am i the only one who thinks villain didnt play his hand well? [/ QUOTE ] probably not. [/ QUOTE ] I'm new to 2+2 and I look forward to posting in the future. As far as Mafews' line? I don't mind it at all. Sure there was a suckout straight and/or flush draw out there (based on the paired board) that he was allowing to hit but I think Mafews simply took a calculated risk in checking the T and letting Grim think his OP was good and to take a stab at it. If the river did come ugly, he would reassess. If it doesn't which it won't more often than not, it gives him a chance to extract more from the hand instead of betting on the T which would definitely scream 10. I think if there was more money in the pot on the flop, Mafews would have possibly raised on the flop or made it very clear on the Turn he had a 10 and wanted to end the hand instantly. Based on watching Mafews quiet a lot though, he rarely gets his money in on the later streets without the best of it. Sure he's capable of making plenty of moves but I think this board was dangerous enough to ensure he would only play it with a decent hand. Go easy on me It's my first post. |
