AKs facing turn heat
UTG+1 25/14/1.8/ 300 hands and is a regular, who's running bad in this session.
OK, or should I find a fold on the turn/river? Once I call the turn I can't fold river on a blank, I guess. Limit: $5/$10 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 raises, Hero 3-bets, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds, UTG+1 caps, Hero calls, SB calls. Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (13SB, 3 players) SB checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, SB folds, UTG+1 calls. Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (8.5BB, 2 players) UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, Hero calls. Re: AKs facing turn heat
You played fine. I wouldn't expect to win often but these are standard turn and river calls.
The turn call is close. Most of the time you're calling for a split at best. If the turn card had been a blank, I'd be a lot more worried. |

Re: AKs facing turn heat
pot is big, but this cant really be a bluff ever, and hes representing a set/flush/straight. i would probably call this down too, but i certainly wouldn't blame anyone for just folding the turn.
