Where do you read in my thread that I thought that they were inappropriate?

And obviously (or so I thought), I was merely using this example to illustrate my point. I thought the threat would be more beneficial if someone were to say, "Hey, I saw a great pair of links at the store the other day that I liked. Maybe I'll share them with OOT," rather than, "Gee, OP, those cufflinks you posted are really cool."

Again, I apologize for posting a threat which is such an obvious waste of your time, of which you apparently have far too much.
