Sabres Offensive zone movement is oh-so-sweet.

Philly's D is just plain AWFUL.

This is pathetic. I'm hoping the Flyers just head to the locker room right now.

9-1 final. Just a great perfomance by everyone, this is their first complete effort of the season, and you know it's a good night when Andrew Peters is all over the place creating chances.

Looks like the same Flyers team as usual. Don't these guys learn?

i dont understand how people predicted the flyers would be good this year. gagne knuble and forsberg make a great first line, but what makes this team better then the penguins? it certainly isn't their defense

The second line is better than advertised - they've been total garbage so far this year. I've never liked Geoff Sanderson and have no clue why they dealt for Kyle Calder - but Jeff Carter and Mike Richards will be better, as will RJ Umberger.

Still, the Flyers will struggle to make the playoffs with that defense and goaltending. Nolan Baumgartner is not an upgrade, and both Randy Jones and Freddy Meyer stink - the Flyers need to trade for a defenseman fast.

6 games in. is it too early to hop on the "it's our year?" bandwagon?

Best period of the year in the 2nd.

I believe this has been eclipsed...

...anyone see all the chances the Sabres were getting AFTER the first 5 of the 3rd when they were coasting essentially...

...is Philly that bad or Buffalo that good...

...Received a great text after the Afinogenov goal - - "Hey, thats my NHL 2007 move"

Both

You look at the line-up and Philly and there's no way they can be THAT bad... coach to blame? When it was even strength, it looked like the Sabres were on the powerplay. I think that's the coaching at fault.

Look at what I said, Afinogenov needs to pass more and he will be deadly. Ends up with 5 points. I need to keep my mouth shut.
