Default Does YOUR firewall suck? Norton 2006 seems to

So i planned to format so i thought i'd test my firewall - http://www.firewallleaktester.com using these.

Seems norton 2006 stops hardly any, quite suprising considering what you pay etc.

May be worth testing your firewall, im only doing it as i plan to format but im not sure how trusted this site is.

Goodluck - Post results if you do(Firewall/version/what it passed and failed)

I have Outpost 4.0.
I got halfway through the tests and got tired. No leaks.

The results of a more thorough test of Outpost 4.0 can be found here (this person is not me):

Most of those include bundled personal firewalls. Just get Kapersky.

It's amazing how ignorant some people are about it though. I've tried to help buddies out and hook them up with solid AV's, and the general consensus is, "Nah I dunno. I haven't heard of that before and uhhh, I've heard of Nortons I'm just gonna stick with it".

No. The built in pseudofirewall is garbage. Marginally better than nothing, but it's a weak piece of junk. You *need* an application firewall.
