So can anyone with more than 8 posts registerred this month, that isn't completely computer illierate like myself, verify that this program is safe? I'm probably just being a nervous nelly but if it is legit I think this will be a sweet tool!

Tell me about one public poker software which already caused problems related to your question. It's not spyware, no adware, not anything of them. It's only doing one thing: Mining Bodog.

If you are worry about internet data access, then install a firewall.

@ SpadeJack,

the most recent example of a poker software gone bad I can think of is RBCalc.exe - do a search of all forums for the last year if you like to find out more.

Cliff noted: RBCalc.exe - Many people burned for much $$$ by a keylogger/trojan masquerading as a rackeback calculator application, IIRC.

@ DogWatch team,

I mean no comment to your program in particular, but people are correct to be suspicious of any unverified, closed-source doftwares they might install on a computer used for accessing real money accounts.

dave.

i tried mining a couple of the 5/10 NL 6 max tables. It mined successfully but when I import them to PT it gives me this error on every file.

Unable to get the game level...$1,000 NL Hold'em - Monday, October 16, 18:03, 6:03:05 PM 2006

C:\Program Files\DogWatch Handgrabber\HHData\Uniao_(max_6)_2006_10_16.txt

I have all the game things checked under bodog preferences except like the railbird chat and player chat thing.

Thanks

Actually, we are developing the new output format. Hands will be saved in PokerStars format then and can be accessed by PT.

Well dave, such kind of suspicious software needs access to the internet. A firewall can block this and you will be notified. DogWatch Handgrabber will never access the internet, because it's a clean hand mining software and has no reason to access the internet.

does PT work with bodog?

[/ QUOTE ]

Poker Tracker does in a way work with Bodog. At the moment you are able to import Bodog hands as Party Poker Hand. We are in contact with them so that Bodog will be importet as Bodog as soon as the final version is out.

Are you going to do anything soon about the 15-minute shutdown?

I know you're wary of letting people have a fully-functioning version without any sort of limitation, but this is all part of the process of building goodwill w/ ur client base: if the program is good and u offer frequent bug fixes and good support, people will happily pay for your product.

Hello teddy,

Demo is close to final. So we don't intend to make a new beta release. Delivering the demo is the next step.

This is a mistake, in my opinion, for one VERY important reason. It's that PT knows how to import observed party hands but DOESN'T have a screen to import OBSERVED Stars hands...why does that matter? b/c on the Party observed window you can filter for # of players in the hand...so if u DON'T want Bodog hands with 2 or 3 players in them, you're out of luck if you can't use the Party import observed hands window.

BUT, if u really are in contact w/ PT Pat to get observed bodog hands recognized as BODOG hands (and that window will include a # of players filter), then this will be moot.
