Some bets I like. Feel free to add your own best bets.
Maryland: Benjamin Cardin (DEM) 1/4 - Current Polls show him in low 50's, high 40's, and Steele in low 40's. Mississippi: Trent Lott (REP) 1/4 - No explaination needed here. Will easily win Pennsylvania: Bob Casey Jr. (DEM) 7/4. Polls show Casey in low 50's, high 40's. No current poll shows Santorum with more than 42%. |

Wow, those are pretty good odds compared to what's available on Tradesports. I'd definitely jump on Casey winning at 4/7. Some polls show narrowing of his lead but like you said, there's a clear ceiling on Santorum's numbers.
I'd bet more on Casey than I did but don't want to tie up funds for 3 weeks. |

I tied up all my money on Feinstein, Lott and Casey. This is just free money. Feinstein and Lott are both >99% to win, and Casey is at least an 80% favorite to win.
If I had more money to wager, I would bet max on every incumbent with an insurmountable lead. |

Thanks for posting about this. The incumbents with large leads should be much more than 1/9. For example, in the Hawaii race, the only way Akaka might lose is if he dies. Even then, he'd still be favored on the ballot. $50 return for tying up $450 for 3 weeks on every one of these safe incumbents.

What's the deal with Connecticut? NYT is showing Lieberman as an Independent.

He's running as an independent because he lost the primary thanks to the far left democrats. The Rupublican candidate is a joke so he should get a lot of Republican and independant votes.

AFAIK you can't, unless you're talking about somewhere else. I could only get $110 to win $50.
