Default video making software

any suggestions on video making software for training purposes, etc.? i did a search, but no dice.

Try easy screen recorder too, cheap, a little flakey sometimes when trying to get it to start, but it's a small program that lets you record in xvid.

If you plan on making DVD's I highly recommend reading a book.

I got:

PC Magazine Guide to Digital Video

From there, I went to some companies web pages and used trial software.

Kinda liked ULead Video Studio 10, but I was more trying to edit commercials out of recorded video than working with something from a camera.

Make sure you at least have your stuff on a pristine hard drive. Format it first and never delete anything - defrag like mad.

Also, try finding a video editting forum. Don't know which is great.
