Default total noob at bike, total chip spewing and complaining players

I went to The Bike the other night and sat at a 3/6 HE game waiting for an O8 seat to open up. A player at the table had to be told by the dealer every move when the action was on him.

It was kind of comical with the asian dealer telling the latin player what to do when the player had limited English skills. Each hand was taking a long time as he studied his cards each betting round. He played every hand and called all the way, sometimes raising, sometimes just betting/calling out. Even getting him to surrender his cards after the hand was over was time consuming.

At one point the floor took him aside for 20 minutes to explain poker to him. Anyway, he had burned about $200 in 30 minutes and bought another $100 in chips when I moved off the table.

One player at my end of the table was angry with the complainers who were taking this guys money AND complaining about his play. He felt they should give the money back if they wanted him gone.

I had mixed emotions about this guy but after the floor talked to him, he came back so I pretty much figured he knew what he was doing even if he didn't know how to play poker.

Thinking about it after I left, I probably should have stayed at the table to see how things played out.

There's an old man kinda like that at Commerce - christ he takes FOREVER - whenever he's in a hand it's painfully slow.

However, he knows a bit about poker, so if he IS in a hand he always has something playable, as a result, it's pretty easy to play back at him. But I try to stay away just because it is so SLOOOOOW.

I hate the guys that take forever to fold their cards on the river when they miss a draw...show them to their neighbors, bitch and whine, etc.
