Re: AJ line check vs TAG
I know this won't go over well but this is the second post I've seen you make about a really standard hand. Perhaps you should move down a limit until these become eaiser to play.

Re: AJ line check vs TAG
Yeah, I'm not seeing much that you're beating on the turn. I believe this is a fold on the turn, it really feels like he has some kind of two pair or a set.
You can probably check the turn, and try to get a cheap showdown. Maybe check/call the turn, and block bet the river? Bet less on the turn maybe for pot control? Like 10-11$ ish? I don't think moving down will make these hands easier to play. I think studying more and getting reads will. Play at whatever level you want to, and keep posting hands that you have questions about. |

Re: AJ line check vs TAG
no offense taken... he just decided to show me his K10 after hand, so i was second guessing myself... but i guess thats being too results oriented.

Also, that's a BIG mistake on his part to show you that hand. Now you know he likes to float and make some pretty bad "semibluffs". I still think you shouldn't stack off with something like TPGK against him, but be sure to let him hang himself in a future hand. |
