Default New Trends toward the consolidation of poker sites?

perhaps one of the things that will help restore the health of online poker is the consolidation of sites. there is just way too many sites out there right now that just dilutes the player base. There is way too many players in the poker market right now and the legislation has forced the industry to mature quickly. like c'mon pamela poker, maked poker and crap like that... is totally useless.

I can foresee that in the next little while there will be fewer sites but some mega sites will develop out of stars, full tilt, and possibly party poker as well. I already heard that UB and AP have merged? rumor?

im optimistic about the future in anycase. party games are still just as soft. hopefully the stars games will start softening too.

It's started already. Tain has announced they're merging with Tribeca, which has immensely better software. There will likely also be other small - medium sites joining in the near future. The software / support / bonuses at Tribeca all seem good enough to match PP and FTP. Too bad there's no RB...

UB and AP merging seems like sheer rumor. I play regularly on both, mostly AP, and have seen no news or heard anything in the industry rumor mill.

Odd software, juice on re-buy tournaments, no freezeouts of decent value, and none with a guarantee, awful support (does depend on the skin admittedly, Paddy Power are very good), and bonuses are few and far between, and really slow to clear.

I would actually question whether Tribeca is better software than Tain as well.

Trust me, Tribeca is better. I'm not a tournament player, so I wouldn't have any idea about that. The software may be "odd," but it's stable, fast, and fully functional. I've also gotten good support from VC. The deposit bonuses are not that difficult to clear if you play above 2/4 Limit.

When I played at Tribeca a few weeks ago it was neither fast nor stable. It crashed a couple of times in a few days. And the hands were played really slowly. Everything took an extra second there.
Ok, I can't compare it to Tain sice I never played there but so far I would prefer playing basically anywhere else.

Yeah ok, good theory there.

Too many players in poker? WTF are you thinking? You can never have too many people playing poker.
